The in-game description says it is a saddle for safely riding Quivern. Reach for it when you want the coolant-mat Dragon ride kit before Broncherry Aqua Saddle and Kingpaca Cryst Saddle.

Recipe: Leather ×30 + Refined Ingot ×20 + Cloth ×10 + Cryogenic Coolant ×10 + Paldium Fragment ×30. Thirty Leather, twenty Refined Ingot, ten Cloth, and ten Cryogenic Coolant are solid mid-late sinks beside the Pal Gear Workbench; for Paldium Fragment ×30, farm fragment loops from the best Paldium Fragment base locations guide.

Carry Quivern Saddle for mid-late Quivern rides, survey loops, and any session where a mild-Paldium Tech 38 coolant saddle beats walking.
