World

Palpagos got taller. One overworld holds the starting islands plus Sakurajima, Feybreak, and Sunreach. The World Tree sits on a separate in-game map once the late story gates open. Every pin below lives on the interactive Map.

Official context: 1.0 / 1.0.5, 287 pals, level cap 80, tower timer 5 minutes, Hard Mode after Azure Covenant. Map layers: Fast Travel, Towers, Alphas, Dungeons, Effigies, Eggs, Crude Oil.

This hub indexes regions. Full routes are in each region guide, starting with Feybreak.

Treat level bands as soft community ranges. Your party, gear, and player builds matter more than a number on a blog.

Palpagos Islands

The starting archipelago. Grasslands first, then desert, volcano, and snow. Towers get colder in roughly that order, starting with Zoe and Grizzbolt. The full tower run lives in the tower order guides and the Bosses hub.

Use the Map early: flip Fast Travel and Watchtowers as you clear fog, then add Towers, Alphas, Dungeons, Effigies, Eggs, and Crude Oil when you need those layers. Do not invent extra layers.

Sakurajima

Cherry-blossom island west of the desert. Saya and Selyne hold Moonflower here. That is the tower you came for. Route, island prep, and biome pockets sit on the Sakurajima guide.

No story gate "unlocks" the island itself in common notes. A serious flyer or sturdy swimmer is enough to land. Wild levels are high, so arriving undergeared is the real soft lock.

Feybreak

Keep going southwest until the water runs out. Bjorn and Bastigor hold the tower. Route, Chromite, anti-air, and the Sunreach portal conversation live on the Feybreak guide.

Feybreak is a destination and a gate. Clear the tower when you are ready for sky islands, not just because the landmass is on the map.

Sunreach

Sky islands added in 1.0, held up by Paldium. New pals, towers, and special-gear ores. Legitimate entry is the portal after Bjorn and Bastigor on Feybreak. Seeing the islands in the sky does not mean you can fly straight in.

Azure Covenant (Auri and Shaolong) lives here. Hard Mode unlocks after that tower. Defense Modules and the portal path live on the Sunreach guide.

World Tree (separate map)

The tree is the end of the story. It is a separate in-game map, not another island you casually fly to from Palpagos. Switch to it with T on keyboard or R2 on PS5 once the late story gates are open.

Radiant Gems, Paloxite, relics, and holy-water farm notes live on the World Tree guide. Community unlock notes usually require the full tower set plus the Panthalus questline before the barrier drops. Quest steps vary by source; follow your in-game journal.

How to read the Map from this hub

  1. Open Map and enable only the layers you need today.
  2. Use Fast Travel and Watchtowers as route anchors.
  3. Filter Towers when you are progressing the story.
  4. Filter Alphas when you are hunting field bosses (see Alphas).
  5. Switch to the World Tree map when the story says you are there. Do not hunt World Tree pins on the Palpagos projection.

Hard Mode and late framing

Hard Mode unlocks after Azure Covenant on Sunreach. It retunes difficulty for towers and late content; see Hard Mode. Faction framing for camps and fortresses sits on Factions. Fortress farming is covered in Fortresses, distinct from the Raids hub.
