10. PalTrade marketplace — platform role

The Platform as a Venue: PalworldCenter (and the PalTrade Marketplace) is strictly a software venue facilitating transactions between independent users. We are not a traditional auctioneer, we are not a party to the transaction, nor do we take legal ownership of the physical goods at any point.

Payments and Payouts: The platform uses Stripe for payment processing. We offer a delayed-payout software protection feature. For sales, buyers are charged immediately, and the payout is transferred to the seller's connected Stripe account after delivery confirmation. For trades, participants are charged a collateral hold plus a 4% + $0.50 platform security fee; upon successful completion of the trade, the collateral portion is refunded. The 4% + $0.50 trade security fee is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including if the trade is cancelled or disputed.

Indemnification Clause: By using PalTrade, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless PalworldCenter, its affiliates, developers, and employees from any claims, damages, or losses arising from disputes between users, damaged goods, failed trades, or lost packages.

11. PalTrade shipping & insurance

Lost in Transit: If a package is lost by the carrier (e.g., USPS), PalworldCenter is not financially liable. We will assist the user in filing an insurance claim with the carrier, and any compensation will be derived strictly from the carrier's insurance payout.

12. PalTrade dispute resolution & binding arbitration

Final Say: In the event of a dispute (e.g., a card arriving damaged or an empty box), users agree that the PalworldCenter Moderation Team has the final, binding say on the resolution.

The "Continuous Unboxing Video" Rule: For any transaction exceeding $50 in value, the buyer is strongly advised to record a continuous, unedited unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened. PalworldCenter does not host video files natively. Buyers must upload their unboxing video to a third-party cloud service (such as YouTube as an Unlisted video, Google Drive, Dropbox, or Imgur) and provide the shareable link directly in the PalTrade chat. If a buyer claims severe damage or a missing card without providing a valid link to this video, the dispute will automatically be ruled in favor of the seller.

Chargeback Policy: Users who attempt to bypass the platform's internal dispute resolution by filing a chargeback directly with their credit card company or bank will have their accounts permanently banned. PalworldCenter reserves the right to heavily dispute the chargeback using the user's digital signature, platform tracking, and chat logs as evidence of friendly fraud.
