Flour

Mill output ground from Wheat. It is the dry ingredient that turns plantation grain into Bread, Cake, bait, and later kitchen meals, so a working Mill is the gate between farms and real cooking.

A commonly cited craft is Wheat ×3 into Flour at the Mill. Feed the Mill from a Wheat Plantation line and park a chest between the fields and the grind so Transport Pals keep bags moving. Once Flour stacks, sink it into Cake for breeding, plus Bread and bait recipes as your Tech opens those recipes.

Cook on the Cooking Pot early, then move volume to Electric Kitchen and Ancient Kitchen when power and late unlocks catch up. Keep Flour in dry storage near the kitchens so Handiwork and Kindling crews aren't hunting across camp.
