Cooking Pot

Tech Level 17 for two points. This is the mid cooking step that retires the Campfire forCake, Salad, Jam-Filled Bun, and real meal volume before electricity arrives.

Build with Wooden Board ×5, Ingot ×15, and Flame Organ ×3. Place workload sits near 10,000. A Kindling Pal runs it, and work speed is commonly cited around +50% over open flame. It's safer for workers than camping a Campfire, which matters once your kitchen corner gets busy.

This is where serious food starts: Cake for breeding prep, salads, jam buns, and the usual buff dishes you can cook without a generator. Progression runs Campfire → Cooking Pot → Electric Kitchen → Ancient Kitchen. Don't skip the pot just because Electric Kitchen is on the tree; Cake farms feel painful if you wait on Circuit Boards alone.

Keep it near the Mill and Feed Box so Flour, cooks, and meal service share one path. When you unlock Electric Kitchen later, leave the pot as backup for brownouts or a second Kindling queue.
