Tech Level 15. This is the flour gate. Without it, Cake stalls and breeding farms stay hungry for eggs.

A commonly cited recipe is Wooden Board ×10, Stone ×40, and Ingot ×10. Older guides still list Wood ×50 plus Stone ×40; treat that as a patch snapshot when sources disagree. A Watering Pal spins the turbine. The core conversion is simple: 3 Wheat becomes 1 Flour, then Flour feeds Cake and the rest of your midgame food loop.

Wheat Plantation

Same Tech Level 15 band. The usual recipe is Wheat Seeds ×3, Wood ×15, and Stone ×15 (older tables bump wood and stone higher). It wants Planting, Watering, and Gathering in rotation. Park the plantation next to the Mill so Transport isn't hauling grain across the whole base.

Once flour is steady, Cake for breeding and dishes headed for the Electric Kitchen stop feeling like a bottleneck. Early on, share Watering labor with the Crusher so one strong Water worker isn't stretched thin across both stations.
