Tech Level 34. Mid melee spear that steps past the Metal Spear once refined smelting is online. Attack sits near 310, so it hits harder than ore-era poke while keeping longer thrust than close blades like Sword and Katana. Build it when Wood and Stone piles are thick, Refined Ingot lines run, and you want a sharper spear before late rifles and cleavers take over the loadout.

Recipe: Wood ×36 + Stone ×18 + Refined Ingot ×10. Thirty-six Wood is the bulk sink, so keep logging pals or stump runs feeding the chest. Eighteen Stone and ten Refined Ingot are easy once gather and refined smelting loops run, so park all three mats beside the weapon bench for unlock night.

Carry Refined Metal Spear for mid field clears, nest fights, and any close-mid poke where reach beats fist range. Keep Sword when you want a multitool blade, and keep Katana for the later Pal Metal melee step.
