Build it when you want one close-range weapon that can also chip trees and rocks on the road.

Recipe: Ingot ×30 + Wooden Board ×2 + Stone ×20. Thirty Ingot is the main sink, so keep ore and coal pals feeding the furnace before Tech 29 night. Two Wooden Board and twenty Stone are easy once logging and mining loops run, so park all three mats beside the weapon bench for unlock night.

Carry Sword for mid field clears, nest fights, and travel routes where a multitool blade beats packing a full gather kit. Keep Meat Cleaver for ranch Butcher work, keep Metal Spear when you want poke reach, and graduate to Katana when Pal Metal and solvent crafts unlock.
