Tech Level 37. Heavy body armor forged from refined metal once Metal Armor stops soaking late midgame hits. Defense sits near 150 with Health near 500, and the suit still carries Cold Resistance Lv1 and Heat Resistance Lv1 so one plate covers mixed biomes while you climb toward Pal Metal.

Recipe: Refined Ingot ×30 + Leather ×15 + High Quality Cloth ×1. Craft on your armor workbench path after refined smelting and ranch leather are steady. Thirty Refined Ingot is the real sink, so keep ore and coal flowing before you plan a full squad of suits. Park leather and High Quality Cloth beside the ingot chest so unlock night is forge-and-equip, not a cloth hunt.

Wear Refined Metal Armor for tower climbs, boss nights, and desert-to-snow travel where Defense and dual climate resists matter more than light mobility. Pair it with Refined Metal Helm the same stretch so the head slot matches the body set. Grab Heat Resistant Refined Metal Armor or Cold Resistant Refined Metal Armor when one biome chews through dual Lv1 plate, then swap up to Pal Metal Armor when Pal Metal Ingot volume catches up.
