Tech Level 41. Climate body armor that upgrades Refined Metal Armor for deep cold. Defense sits near 180 with Health near 500, plus Cold Resistance Lv2, so snow and ice routes stop shredding your stamina while you keep solid plate. Reach for it once refined smelting is online and winter biomes become the main route.
Recipe: Refined Ingot ×40 + Leather ×20 + High Quality Cloth ×2 + Cryogenic Coolant ×4. Coolant is the climate bottleneck, so craft a small stockpile from Ice Organ and Aquatic Pal Fluid lines before unlock night. Forty Refined Ingot and ranch leather still dominate the kit, so keep ore, coal, and leather chests beside the armor bench.
Wear Cold Resistant Refined Metal Armor for frozen towers, ice caves, and cold treks where Cold Resist Lv2 beats dual Lv1 plate. Swap to Heat Resistant Refined Metal Armor in deserts, or step down to Cold Resistant Metal Armor while coolant and refined mats catch up.
