Plasteel

This alloy unlocks around level 50 and only smelts in an Electric Furnace. You need base power and a Kindling Pal on the furnace or the recipe never finishes, no matter how much oil you stockpile.

The craft commonly uses Crude Oil ×5, Paldium Fragment ×5, and Ore ×10 per Plasteel. Oil is the pacing item for most players, so pair furnace runs with a steady crude supply instead of dumping ore alone into the queue.

The Electric Furnace itself unlocks around level 44. Build costs include Refined Ingot, Circuit Board, Polymer, and Carbon Fiber among the parts, so plan that station a few levels before you expect Plasteel armor or weapon recipes to open.

Downstream demand is heavy. Plasteel armor lines, the Laser Rifle path, the Computer recipe, and a stretch of Feybreak-and-later stations all pull from the same stockpile. Once Computer crafts and energy weapons come online, treat Plasteel as a continuous smelt job rather than a weekend project.
