Tech Level 58. Late dungeon utility that reveals hidden Chromite deposits and marks them for mining once Plasteel and Computer crafts are online. It is not a weapon. Equip it in the dungeon, scan for marks, and remember deposits unmark if you wander too far, so clear rooms in short loops rather than sprinting past every ping. Unlock it when Chromite sinks start showing up in late crafts.
Recipe: Plasteel ×30 + Paldium Fragment ×100 + Computer ×15 + Nightstar Sand ×20. Paldium Fragment and Nightstar Sand are craft mats only here; bank both from your usual late loops. One hundred Paldium Fragment is the bulk gate, while fifteen Computers and twenty Nightstar Sand are the scarce sinks, so park all four mats beside the workbench for unlock night.
Carry Metal Detector for Chromite dungeon runs and any late ore night where marked deposits beat guessing wall seams. Pair it with a ready mining loadout so you dig as soon as a mark appears.
