Chromite

Metal buried underground on certain islands. A Metal Detector helps you ping deposits, and Feybreak expedition notes also point you toward supply routes that carry the ore. It is the dark half of the Hexolite pair beside rainbow Hexolite Quartz.

A commonly cited sink is Chromite ×1 plus Hexolite Quartz ×1 into Hexolite at the late forge line anchored by Gigantic Furnace. Run detector sweeps on islands that mark Chromite, then ship ore home to the same bay that receives Quartz from the Hexolite Quartz Mine. Keeping both Feybreak ores in one lane stops Hexolite batches from stalling on a single missing mat.

Don't invent farm pins from memory. Use the detector, expedition drops, and your own map marks, then refine everything into Hexolite as soon as the furnace is free.
