Technology Level 62. Late gather station that produces Hexolite Quartz on the base. Digging that crystal is grueling work, so leave the job to a Pal with strong Mining suitability.

The usual recipe is Stone ×70, Hexolite Quartz ×100, and Ancient Civilization Parts ×10. You spend a chunk of the same quartz the mine later returns, so farm a seed stack in the wild first, then plant the station where Mining Pals can reach it without fighting Transport traffic. Feed the output into the Hexolite craft lane instead of letting crates fill with unprocessed crystal.

Slot this beside the earlier gather ladder: Ore Mining Site, Ore Mining Site II, Coal Mine, and Sulfur Mine. Keep Pure Quartz routes on a separate wing if you still need that mid material for other crafts, then graduate the late crystal lane to Pure Quartz Quarry and Soralite Quarry when those ranks open. Assign your best Mining Pals and keep food nearby so SAN doesn't tank on the long dig. Confirm yield and Mining assign behavior in game before you rebuild after a base move.
