Unlocked at Technology level 50, this is the late electronics brick that gates AI Core and a long stretch of energy weapons. Craft it at Production Assembly Line II for Circuit Board ×2, Plasteel ×3, Bio Battery ×2, and Carbon Fiber ×2, with a workload of 2500.
That recipe is a Plasteel and Bio Battery sink before you ever reach AI Core. One AI Core wants multiple Computers, so treat Computer production as a pipeline rather than a one-off craft when you unlock the next tech tier.
Weapons that lean on Computers include the Laser Rifle, Guided Missile Launcher, Plasma Cannon, Energy Shotgun, Charge Rifle, and Laser Gatling. Structures that ask for them include Advanced Sphere Assembly Line, Advanced Workshop, Advanced Chest, Gigantic Furnace, Ancient Furnace, Ancient Clinic, Pal Pod, and Pal Disassembly Conveyor. Research manuscripts for Handiwork and base Pal upgrades also spend Computers, so keep a reserve outside combat crafts.
Map the chain backward if you're starving for parts. Bio Battery and Plasteel need to be online before Computer stockpiles make sense, and Computer stockpiles need to be online before AI Core and the heaviest energy guns stop being theoretical.
