Unlocked at Tech Level 67, this part sits near the top of the late crafting ladder. One AI Core costs Computer ×5, Soralite Ingot ×10, Thermal Core ×2, and Ancient Civilization Core ×1.

That recipe is a heavy sink for endgame weapons. Combat SMG builds lean on AI Cores, and the Plasma Multicutter path burns through Computers and Thermal Cores that you would otherwise feed upward into AI Core itself. Plan production around both sinks or you'll keep stalling mid-craft.

The chain that leads here is long but linear once you map it. Cryogenic Coolant unlocks at 31, Bio Battery at 44, Computer at 50, Thermal Core at 59, then AI Core at 67. Missing any link means you can't stockpile cores even if the final recipe is already unlocked.

Treat AI Core as a budget item, not a casual craft. Stock Computers and Thermal Cores ahead of time so a weapon unlock doesn't wipe your reserves overnight.
