Early game raids are a joke. Late game raids are a nightmare. Here's how to survive them.
The Choke Point
Don't wall off your entire base perfectly. Leave one intentional opening. The AI pathing will force all raiders through this gap. Line this gap with traps and your strongest combat Pals.
Elevation Advantage
Build your base on a cliff edge or plateau. If raiders spawn at the bottom of a cliff they can't climb, the raid will eventually time out and you win by default.
Warning Bell
Always build a Warning Bell. During a raid, switch it to "Attack Invaders" so your worker Pals fight back instead of cowering in fear.
