Base Pal Tier List: The Ultimate Workers
Stop using Cattivas. Optimize your base with the absolute best Pals for Mining, Handiwork, and Kindling.

If you are still using Pengullets to water your crops at level 40, we need to talk. Your base is only as efficient as the Pals working in it.
Do not use multi-tasking Pals in the endgame. A Pal with Level 3 Mining, Level 2 Logging, and Level 2 Handiwork sounds great, but they will constantly get distracted. You want specialists.
The God of Handiwork: Anubis
Anubis has Handiwork Level 4. If you assign Anubis to an assembly line, hundreds of Pal Spheres get crafted in seconds. You can actually breed Anubis incredibly early (Penking + Bushi is the easiest combo). Do this ASAP.
The King of Kindling: Jormuntide Ignis
Cooking Cake and smelting Refined Ingots takes forever. Jormuntide Ignis is the only Pal in the game with Kindling Level 4. You can find their huge dragon eggs scattered around the volcanic region, or catch them at the Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Mining Machine: Astegon
Astegon has Mining Level 4. More importantly, it's a Dark type, which means it does not sleep at night. If you put an Astegon in an Ore Pit, you will wake up to thousands of ore.
The Harvest Queen: Lyleen
Lyleen has Planting Level 4 and Gathering Level 2. Combine her with a Jormuntide (Watering Level 4), and your food production will never stall again.
