Wool

Ranch shear material pulled from sheep-type Pals. It feeds Cloth, bedding, and soft-goods crafts, so a healthy Ranch with fed shearers is how you keep textile recipes from stalling.

A commonly cited flow is assign sheep Pals to the Ranch, keep them fed from a nearby Feed Box, and collect Wool as it piles up. Sink early stacks into Cloth with the commonly cited path Wool ×10 plus Leather ×1. Later, High Quality Cloth commonly asks for Wool ×5, Leather ×3, and Paldium Fragment ×5, so bank Wool before that Tech lands.

Park a Wool chest beside Handiwork pads so bedding and cloth crafts pull without a camp-wide search. Don't treat Wool as a wild farm map item. Ranch production is the steady spine, and Leather still comes from hunts and merchants for the same recipes.
