Shoddy Bed

Tech Level 3. Opener of the human sleep ladder toward Fine Bed once Wood, Fiber, and Wool crafts come online. Defense sits at 2, and the in-game description says it is a shoddy bed for humans to use when injured or to sleep at night, though you still need a roof overhead to rest soundly. Reach for it when you need a player bed beside the early Pal rest path from Straw Pal Bed, not a Pal SAN mattress.

Recipe: Wood ×20 + Fiber ×5 + Wool ×1. Twenty Wood, five Fiber, and one Wool are tiny early sinks, so the kit finishes beside the workbench in one trip with no Paldium in the recipe.

Carry Shoddy Bed for starter player sleep, early injury rest, and any room where a human bed beats floor naps before Fine Bed unlocks. Keep climbing toward Fine Bed once Cloth and Nail scale. Figures are for Palworld 1.0.5; recheck Tech level, craft counts, and Defense in game after a later patch.
