Polymer
Unlocked at Technology level 33 for 2 points, this plastic-like part sits in the middle of the firearms and electronics climb. Craft it on a powered Production Assembly Line or Line II: High Quality Pal Oil ×2 and Sulfur ×1 for one Polymer, with a workload commonly cited around 10,000.
Oil is the real gate. Sulfur is easy to over-farm from quarry and volcanic nodes, but High Quality Pal Oil comes from Pal drops, ranch loops, and merchants. Build oil income before you queue a long Polymer run or the Assembly Line sits half empty.
Downstream demand shows up fast. Assault Rifle, Rocket Launcher, Double-Barreled Shotgun, and Pump-Action Shotgun lines eat Polymer. So do Circuit Board crafts, the Electric Furnace, the Refrigerator, and a long list of clean building pieces. Once Circuit Boards open, Polymer stops being a weekend project and becomes a continuous Handiwork job.
Keep the station fed with power and a Handiwork Pal. Without a generator and a Generating Electricity worker, the line idles even when oil and sulfur sit in storage. Plan Polymer batches beside Circuit Board and Carbon Fiber runs so one powered line covers the whole mid-tier electronics stack.
