The in-game description says it is a saddle for safely riding Mammorest. Reach for it when you want the Oil-mat grass titan kit before Astegon Saddle and Jormuntide Saddle.

Recipe: Leather ×50 + Fiber ×70 + High Quality Pal Oil ×10 + Wood ×100 + Paldium Fragment ×60. Fifty Leather, seventy Fiber, ten Oil, and one hundred Wood are solid mid-late sinks; mild-high for Paldium Fragment ×60, farm fragment loops from the best Paldium Fragment base locations guide. No organ mats sit in the recipe.

Carry Mammorest Saddle for forest routes, heavy ground travel, and any session where a Tech 28 Oil saddle beats lighter early mounts.
