Some resources can't be mined or farmed in a Ranch. You have to hunt for them.
Pal Fluids
Dropped by low-level Water-type Pals.
- Best Farm: The Gobfin Turf fast travel point. It is swarming with Gobfins. Bring a strong Electric Pal and wipe them out.
High Quality Pal Oil
Required for Polymer.
- Best Farm: Relaxaurus and Dumud drop huge amounts. Alternatively, you can buy it from the Wandering Merchant at the Fisherman's Point settlement for Gold Coins.
Leather and Bone
- Leather: Dropped by almost every early-game Mammal (Direhowl, Eikthyrdeer).
- Bone: Dropped by Vixy, Rushoar, and Loupmoon.
- The Merchant Route: Once you have a steady Gold income (via selling Nails or Baked Berries), simply buy Leather and Bone from the Wandering Merchant in the Small Settlement.
