Oil Rig Infiltration Guide
Tackle the hardest PvE content in the game. Learn how to board the Oil Rig, disable the lasers, and claim the massive loot chests.

The Oil Rig stronghold is the ultimate late-game challenge, introduced in the Sakurajima update.
The Approach
The rig is surrounded by anti-air lasers. If you try to fly there on a Jetragon, you will be shot down instantly. The Strategy: Use a swimming mount (like Surfent or Azurobe) or use a flying mount and stay skimming just above the water's surface to stay under the radar.
Disabling the Lasers
Once aboard, prioritize finding the control terminals to shut down the anti-air lasers. This allows you to summon your flying mount for a quick escape.
The Big Chest
The primary goal is the massive gold chest located in the center of the rig. It requires a significant fight to access and drops huge amounts of Crude Oil, Plasteel, and high-tier schematics. The chest respawns periodically, making this a repeatable farm.
