Setting Up and Optimizing a Dedicated Server

Hosting a dedicated server ensures the world is always online for your group.
Hardware Requirements
Palworld servers are notorious memory hogs.
- Minimum: 8GB RAM (will crash frequently with 4+ players).
- Recommended: 16GB RAM.
- Ideal: 32GB RAM (required for long-term servers with massive bases).
Essential Config Changes
Edit the PalWorldSettings.ini file to adjust gameplay:
DeathPenalty=None(Highly recommended to avoid losing gear to physics bugs).bEnableNonLoginPenalty=False(Prevents the server from punishing players who haven't logged in recently).
Scheduled Restarts
The server suffers from memory leaks over time. Set up a cron job or scheduled task to gracefully restart the server every 6-12 hours.
