Primitive Workbench

Tech Level 1. Two sticks and a dream: this is the first Handiwork station, and every early tool, weapon scrap, and base part starts here.

The usual recipe is Wood ×2. It needs a Handiwork Pal. SAN drain is commonly cited near −0.11 while crafts are queued. Recipe range covers starter tools, basic gear, and the odds and ends that get you out of the stone age until nails and better benches unlock.

Progression runs Primitive → High Quality Workbench → Production Assembly Line. Specialty bays like Sphere Workbench and Weapon Workbench peel capture and arms off the general Handiwork load later. Keep Primitive around for a day or two after High Quality lands if you need a second crafter, then retire it once the better bench owns everyday kit.
