High Quality Workbench

Tech Level 11. This is the first Handiwork hub that feels like a real workshop after the Primitive Workbench, and it carries most of your early kit until specialty lines open.

The usual recipe is Ingot ×8, Wood ×20, and Nail ×10. It needs a Handiwork Pal, work speed is commonly cited around +50%, and SAN drain sits near −0.11. No electricity, so you can plant it the same day you unlock nails and keep crafting through brownouts later.

Expect arrows and ammo, axes and pickaxes, bows, early armor, cloth, boards, nails, gliders, and fishing rods from this station. High Quality Cloth and board recipes keep bases tidy while you wait on furnaces for better metal. Once Production Assembly Line lands, move mass parts there and leave this bench as a flexible overflow for tools and odd jobs. Production Assembly Line II eventually retires most of the midgame Handiwork load, but the High Quality bench still earns a corner for quick one-offs.
