Tech Level 21 for two points. Drop one in the base and every Kindling job nearby feels a little less like babysitting a campfire.

The usual recipe is Ingot ×20, Wood ×30, and Flame Organ ×5. Older wiki lists inflate the mats; treat those as patch snapshots and confirm in-game when sources disagree. The station itself is passive QoL. It doesn't need a worker parked on it the way a furnace does.

Kindling work speed is commonly cited around +20% while the cauldron is placed. Only one counts, so extras are just furniture. Pair it with a Primitive Furnace early, then keep it beside Improved Furnace and Electric Furnace once you climb the smelting line. The same buff helps kitchen Kindling on a Cooking Pot before Electric Kitchen takes over meal volume under power.
