Wooden Defensive Wall

Technology Level 8. Early wood perimeter plate that stops the first wild packs from walking straight into camp. It is cheap, fast to place, and it breaks easily once fights get serious.

The usual recipe is Wood ×10. HP sits near 5000, so treat the ring as a starter fence, not a late raid shell. Raise it beside Wooden Gate so big Pals can enter without hopping the line, then graduate the same footprint to Defensive Wall when Stone stockpiles catch up. Save Metal Defensive Wall for the outer ring after your forge and Cement line can rebuild the whole base.

Wrap choke points and cliff approaches before you decorate the yard. Leave gate slots on the road your mounts already use, and keep spare Wood next to the build zone because repairs come often. When stone Tech unlocks, replace the outer wood first and keep a short inner wood segment only if you still need a cheap second layer.
