Wooden Gate

Technology Level 8. Early wood gate large enough for big Pals to pass through. It opens your first real base door, but it breaks easily when fights spill into the yard.

The usual recipe is Wood ×10. Cheap enough to place on every main path once your logging wing runs. Use it with early wood fencing such as Wooden Defensive Wall so large workers and mounts can enter without hopping walls, then graduate the same openings to Stone Gate and later Iron Gate when metal Tech and Cement land. Stone mid walls such as Defensive Wall usually arrive before that metal swap, so you can harden the sides while the door stays wood for a while.

Put the gate on the road your team already uses, not on a blind rear wall you never watch. Close it when you leave, and keep spare Wood nearby because repairs come often. Treat wood doors as temporary: plan the metal upgrade before hard content starts chewing the frame. Figures are for Palworld 1.0.5; recheck recipe and durability in game after a later patch.
