Stone Pickaxe

Tech Level 1. Earliest mining tool that opens stone and ore nodes long before smelting and yield passives take over. Attack sits near 20, so it cracks starter rocks while keeping a cheap spare for death runs. Build it when Wood and Stone piles start stacking and you want a pick before the Metal Pickaxe, later Refined Metal Pickaxe, and Pal Metal Pickaxe unlocks.

Recipe: Stone ×5 + Wood ×5. Five Stone and five Wood match the Stone Axe kit, so craft both on unlock night and stash spares in the ranch chest. Early mining pals and hand gathers feed the same mats, so keep a small node loop beside camp.

Carry Stone Pickaxe for ore routes, base stone nights, and any early node belt where a cheap pick beats fist mining. Step up to Metal Pickaxe once Ingot lines start, then climb Refined Metal Pickaxe and Pal Metal Pickaxe as Mining Yield tiers unlock.
