Makeshift SMG

Tech Level 26. Early scrap submachine gun that opens high fire rate after the Makeshift Handgun and before the fuller Makeshift Assault Rifle and Assault Rifle lane. Attack sits near 100 with Mag 24, built for spray and control rather than per-shot punch. Treat it like the rest of the Makeshift story: a scrap-built step before refined weapon mats arrive.

Recipe: Ingot ×40 + High Quality Pal Oil ×10 + Fiber ×30. Forty Ingot and ten High Quality Pal Oil are the gated mats, so park ore, coal, and oil pals beside fiber baskets before unlock night. Keep a Fiber buffer, because Fiber also feeds cloth crafts that compete for the same pile.

Carry Makeshift SMG for cave clears, mid alphas, and any early fight where Mag 24 automatic fire outclasses pistol pacing. Graduate to SMG or Assault Rifle when those unlocks land.
