Lockpicking Tool v1

Tech Level 16. Copper Key tier lockpick that opens treasure chests that normally need a Copper Key once Ingot and Nail crafts are online. It is a field utility, not a weapon, so you craft it to pry locked boxes on exploration routes instead of hunting key drops. Reach for it when early copper-locked chests start blocking loot and you already smelt iron for base builds.

Recipe: Ingot ×10 + Paldium Fragment ×10 + Nail ×5. Ten Ingot and five Nail are light furnace sinks, so the gated mat is ten Paldium Fragment. Pull fragments from the best Paldium Fragment base locations guide, then park Ingot, Nail, and fragments beside the workbench for one craft. Paldium Fragment is the craft mat only here.

Carry Lockpicking Tool v1 on survey runs, dungeon loops, and any map pass where Copper Key chests sit on the path. Craft a spare before long trips so one break does not strand you. Figures are for Palworld 1.0.5; recheck Tech level, craft counts, and which chest tiers it opens in game after a later patch.
