Defense sits at 2 with three storage slots, and the in-game description says it is an iron wall shelf for storing items that can be placed on a wall. Reach for it when you want denser mid wall slots after early wood wall shelves before antique wall cabinet.

Recipe: Wood ×5 + Ingot ×10. Five Wood and ten Ingot are light mid sinks, so long shelf runs still finish beside the workbench with no Paldium in the recipe and no organ mats to chase.

Carry Iron Wall Shelf for mid workshop wall racks, ore and tool stashes, and any iron slot where three Defense 2 wall slots beat empty walls beside Iron Shelf and Wooden Wall Shelf. Park Wood and Ingot before Tech 10 night so the craft is one trip. Figures are for Palworld 1.0.5; recheck Tech level, craft counts, slot count, and Defense in game after a later patch.
