Defense sits near 250 with Health near 750, plus Heat Resistance Lv2, so volcano routes and desert towers stop cooking you while you keep late plate. Wear it when base Pal Metal still leaves Heat stacks chewing through your stamina.

Recipe: Pal Metal Ingot ×30 + Leather ×30 + High Quality Cloth ×3 + Flame Organ ×16. Flame Organ is the climate mat only, so bank it from Fire-type fights and craft nights. Thirty Pal Metal Ingot plus a triple High Quality Cloth pull means smelting and cloth lines should already be humming before unlock night.

Run Heat Resistant Pal Metal Armor for volcanic treks, desert alphas, and long heat biomes where Heat Resist Lv2 beats plain Pal Metal. Swap to Cold Resistant Pal Metal Armor when snow takes over, or step down to Heat Resistant Refined Metal Armor if Pal Metal stocks are thin.
