Coal

Cave ore and furnace fuel for high quality metal crafts. You pull it from field nodes, then scale volume with a Coal Mine so smelting never waits on a single cave run. For layout ideas, lean on Best Coal Base Locations when you plant the mine wing.

A commonly cited late sink is Coralum Ore ×2 plus Coal ×5 into Coralum Ingot at Gigantic Furnace. Earlier, Coal also feeds Refined Ingot and Carbon Fiber lines, so one coal chest can serve mid bars and late ocean alloy without splitting stacks across camps. Keep the mine output next to Kindling floors so furnaces stay lit while Coralum, ore, and fiber batches queue.

Bank a buffer before big Coralum or Refined Ingot nights. Field coal still helps early, but the mine is what keeps Gigantic Furnace fed once alloy Tech opens. Figures are for Palworld 1.0.5; recheck mine output and recipe ratios in game after a later patch.
