Mega Grappling Gun

Tech Level 17. Upgraded mobility hook that extends the Grappling Gun latch for longer pulls across cliffs, towers, and bad fights. It is still not a weapon. You fire a hook, reel toward the point, and chain swings with greater range than the base gun. Unlock it once Ancient Parts and Paldium stocks cover the upgrade cost.

Recipe: Paldium Fragment ×20 + Ingot ×20 + Fiber ×50 + Ancient Civilization Parts ×3. Paldium Fragment is a craft mat only here; farm it from your usual ore loops and lean on the Paldium Fragment base guide if volume stalls. Twenty Ingot and fifty Fiber are easy once furnaces run, while three Ancient Civilization Parts are the scarce gate from chests and boss loot.

Carry Mega Grappling Gun for tall tower approaches, cliff shortcuts, and mid-fight escapes when the base Grappling Gun range falls short. Graduate to Giga Grappling Gun when Mega range still falls short. Craft a spare kit so a lost gun does not strand you mid-route.
