Grappling Gun

Tech Level 12. Mobility hook tool that turns cliffs, towers, and bad fights into a quick latch-and-pull. It is not a weapon. You fire a hook, reel toward the point, and chain swings to skip climbs or bail when pals pile on. Unlock it early and keep one equipped, because traversal speed changes how you route the whole map.

Recipe: Paldium Fragment ×10 + Ingot ×10 + Fiber ×30 + Ancient Civilization Parts ×1. Paldium Fragment is a craft mat only here; farm it from your usual ore loops and lean on the Paldium Fragment base guide if volume stalls. Ten Ingot and thirty Fiber are easy once furnaces and gather pals run, while Ancient Civilization Parts are the scarce gate from chests and boss loot.

Carry Grappling Gun for tower approaches, cliff shortcuts, and mid-fight escapes when ground pathing fails. Graduate to Mega Grappling Gun and later Giga Grappling Gun when the base latch range falls short. Craft a spare kit so a lost gun does not strand you mid-route.
