Technology Level 21 (2 Tech Points). Core ammo material for bullets and the defense loop that keeps mounted guns fed once raids stop being soft.

A commonly cited craft is Charcoal ×2 plus Sulfur ×1 (workload around 3,000). Tocotoco can also drop Gunpowder in the field, which helps before your sulfur line is online. Sulfur pacing usually runs through a Sulfur Mine and solid sulfur base spots, so keep charcoal flowing from a furnace while Transport hauls yellow ore in.

You'll sink stacks into roughly two dozen ammo and bullet recipes, plus the pads that fire them. Stock Gunpowder beside the Mounted Machine Gun and Mounted Missile Launcher so defense crafts don't stall mid raid prep. Confirm recipe outputs and workload on your patch if a guide lists a different charcoal-to-sulfur ratio.
