Tech Level 53. Late Frag upgrade that steps far past the Frag Grenade once Pal Metal and oil crafts are online. Attack sits near 4000, so one throw hits much harder than the Tech 25 Frag pocket while keeping the same delayed fuse play. Build it when you want raid-night splash that softens alpha rooms and camp clusters before you push, not when you still live on early Gunpowder and Stone grenades.

Recipe: Gunpowder ×1 + Pal Metal Ingot ×3 + Crude Oil ×3. One Gunpowder stays cheap. Three Pal Metal Ingot and three Crude Oil are the gated sinks, so park furnace and oil lines beside the workbench and batch craft before tough nights. Oil extractors matter here more than Stone piles.

Carry Frag Grenade Mk2 for late mid-range opens, doorway clears, and fights where a heavy thrown blast beats Mag pacing from lighter guns. Keep Grenade Launcher as the gun-form splash tool when you want magazine shells instead of hand throws.
