Cloth Outfit

Tech Level 4. Early body armor that replaces bare survival gear once you can sew cloth at the workbench. Defense sits near 15 with Health near 70, plus Cold Resistance Lv1, so cool nights and light snow stop shredding you while you still farm Fiber by hand. Wear it as soon as the recipe unlocks, because free Defense beats early towers in bare gear.

Recipe: Cloth ×2 + Fiber ×7. Cloth comes from Fiber crafting, so the real loop is gather Fiber, sew Cloth, then forge the outfit in one sitting. Seven Fiber plus two Cloth is cheap enough that you can kit a whole party before ore and leather lines open.

Run Cloth Outfit for early exploration, first boss nights, and any cool biome where Cold Resist Lv1 helps before Tropical Outfit, Tundra Outfit, Pelt Armor, or Metal Armor come online. Keep a spare set in the chest so a death does not send you back to bare cloth scraps.
