Where to Put Your Stat Points (And How to Respec)

Don't ruin your build. A complete guide on prioritizing Weight, Stamina, and HP, and why you should ignore Attack.

PalGuy

Up to date for v1.0.5

Every time you level up, you get a stat point. If you put it in the wrong place, your life in Palpagos is going to be miserable.

The Golden Rule: Weight is King

I put almost 50% of my points into Weight. Ore is heavy. Coal is heavy. If you can't carry 1,500+ weight, you are going to be making ten trips to mine a single coal node. Save yourself the headache: pump Weight early and often.

Stamina is Your Safety Net

If you run out of stamina while climbing a cliff, you fall and die. If you run out of stamina while gliding away from a boss, you drop and die. Get your Stamina to at least 150.

Why You Should Ignore Attack

Player Attack scales horribly in Palworld. Your damage comes from the weapons you craft (like the Assault Rifle) and the Pals you deploy. Adding 10% to your base player attack is a statistical rounding error by level 40. Put those points in HP instead.

Made a mistake? You can craft the Memory Wiping Medicine at the Electric Medicine Workbench to reset your stats. Just be warned: it requires a ton of rare flowers.
