Getting Started in Palworld: First 10 Hours

When you first wake up on the Windswept Hills, the game doesn't hold your hand. This guide cuts through the noise and tells you exactly what to prioritize.
Punch Trees, Then Stop
Your first instinct is to punch trees. Do that until you can craft a Stone Axe and Stone Pickaxe. Never punch a tree again.
First Base Location
Don't build your first base at the spawn point. Run down the hill, grab the fast travel point, and look for a flat area. A flat base means your Pals won't get stuck on terrain and starve to death while you're offline.
Catch Everything
Pal Spheres are cheap. Catching 10 of the same Pal gives an immense EXP bonus. If you see a Cattiva, catch it. If you see 10 Cattivas, catch all 10. Your carrying capacity will thank you later.
