Defense sits at 4, and the in-game description says it is a pyramidal roof built on top of walls to keep out the rain and wind so you can create stylish Japanese-style architecture. Reach for it when you want peaked JP fills that the slanted and corner pieces alone cannot cover.

Recipe: Hardwood ×4. Four Hardwood is a focused late sink, so long pyramid runs still finish beside the workbench with no Paldium in the recipe and no organ mats to chase.

Carry Japanese-Style Pyramid Roof for shrine peaks, dojo crowns, and any late JP slot where Defense 4 pyramid roofs beat flat pads beside Japanese-Style Fence and Japanese-Style Stairs.
