Eternal Ascent is up for preorder. Booster three lands January 29.

Legends Awaken isn't even out yet and the third set already has a name and a date. Booster Pack Eternal Ascent, the third booster for the Palworld trading card game (TCG), releases January 29, 2027. Bushiroad says preorders are open now at local stores.

What's official

Bushiroad's product page and preorder post give us the basics:

• Release date: January 29, 2027
• Card types: 100 types (RR, R, U, C) plus parallels
• Featured colors: Red, Blue, Green, Purple, and Colorless
• Preorders: available now at your local stores

That's all of it. Bushiroad says design and specifications are subject to change, and that more details are coming on its social channels in the coming weeks.

How we got here

The date isn't new. At the Bushiroad English Conference Summer 2026 on August 7, the publisher said two new trial decks would arrive December 18, 2026, followed by a brand-new booster on January 29, 2027. On September 11, that booster became Eternal Ascent and preorders opened.

The December decks are the Eternal Ascent trial decks, Red・Green and Blue・Purple. I covered them in The December decks have names. Eternal Ascent. So the order for this winter is:

1. October 30, 2026: Booster Pack Legends Awaken
2. December 18, 2026: Eternal Ascent trial decks (Red・Green and Blue・Purple)
3. January 29, 2027: Booster Pack Eternal Ascent

All the dates live on our 2026 Palworld OCG calendar.

Reading the rarity line

The official line lists RR, R, U, and C, plus parallels. Bushiroad hasn't said which parallel rarities Eternal Ascent will use or how many there are. If you want a refresher on what those letters mean, our rarity guide breaks down every code.

No cards, Pals, or art have been revealed yet. When Bushiroad shows the first one, it'll be here.

Should you preorder now?

Here's how I'd think about it. Preorders are through local stores, so ask your shop how it's handling allocation. Dawn of Palpagos was hard to find after launch, and Bushiroad itself said so (our write-up). Getting your name on a list early costs you a conversation.

If your budget is already spoken for by Legends Awaken, that's fine too. January is a long way off, and the full product details aren't out yet.

Thanks for reading. One set at a time.
