Bushiroad just bumped the Eternal Ascent booster pack by a day. It was set for Friday, January 29, 2027. It's now Saturday, January 30, 2027.
The English notice points to manufacturing and quality control. The Japanese post talks about a change in distribution. Either way, we've got a Saturday now.
A schedule slide from Bushiroad's YouTube announcement tonight also puts the two Eternal Ascent trial decks, Red・Green and Blue・Purple, on December 18, 2026. Those land first, and they are where a lot of the fun starts.
The thing I'm most excited about is Rank Up. From what Bushiroad has said so far, you stack Pals that share the same main name to raise that Pal's rank. That's about all we have. The full rules aren't out yet, and I can't wait to see how it actually plays.
The trial decks also bring new Souls along for the ride. Each one includes two bonus Soul cards with artwork from Dawn of Palpagos, drawn from 10 varieties, and each deck gets a different lineup. There isn't much more detail than that yet, which is part of why I'm looking forward to cracking them open.
One practical note if you're heading to events: Eternal Ascent booster cards are restricted at two Masters League 26/27 stops, St. Polten, Austria and Houston, TX. If you're going to Houston, leave the new set in the binder.
