Bushiroad already wrote the two styles, so that's the fork I'm using.
Red/Blue is "overwhelming power."
Green/Purple is "strategizing battle tactics."
Pick the sentence that sounds like you after a long day. That's a perfectly good way to choose a first deck.
Red/Blue, if you want the table to move
Official name: Trial Deck "Dawn of Palpagos Red・Blue". Only Red and Blue cards, per the launch announcement. Same kit as the other deck. 50 plus 10, playmat, guide, counters, one booster pack, one TSR or TSP swapped into the main deck.
The checklist is ETD01. You'll see names like Grizzbolt and Elphidran Aqua on that page. The official pitch is power, so the games tend to feel like someone is leaning on the table.

Red/Blue
Green/Purple, if you like setting traps
Official name: Trial Deck "Dawn of Palpagos Green・Purple". Only Green and Purple. Same kit. Checklist is ETD02. Mossanda and friends live there.
Official pitch is tactics. If you like lining pieces up before you swing, this is the one I'd slide across the cafe table.

Green/Purple
Either one is a full first night
Pick the style you like. Both decks play a full first night.
Both decks are legal 50 plus 10 out of the box. Both follow the two-color rule. Both can eat cards from Dawn of Palpagos later. Colorless cards can join either, once you start mixing.
If you already own one, buy the other for a friend. That's a full first night. Live stock sits on deals. The booster that upgrades either deck is on the EBP01 set page.
Rules, if the play guide in the box feels thin, are at how to play.
FAQ
- Do I need both?
- No. One deck is a player.
- Can I mash them together?
- Deck construction is still two colors plus Colorless, four of a name. Read deckbuilding before you dump both boxes into one pile.
- Which one is rarer or more expensive?
- That moves. Use the set pages and deals, not a screenshot from last week.
