I watched Legends Awaken get ripped before launch day

Multiple streamers. Over 13 cases. 1,872+ packs. 1 God Pack.

Legends Awaken isn't out yet. Official release is Friday, October 30. The product page says so, and the official account was still counting down last night.

But on Tuesday night, October 27, I was watching Legends Awaken packs get opened live on Whatnot. Not a pack or two, either. One streamer I watched went through cases of it, and other streamers were ripping booster boxes too. So yeah. Let's talk about it.

What I saw

I'm going to keep this to what was on stream and nothing extra. No rumors, no guesses, just what I watched with my own eyes:

One streamer I watched ripped 1,872 packs. 13 cases. And only hit 1 GOD Pack.

That's it. One. Across thirteen cases. If you were sitting in chat hoping for a God Pack party, it was mostly a long night of watching other people's cardboard.

"Odds of hits seem to line up with Dawn of Palpagos"

That was my takeaway from watching. Not "Set 2 is stingy." Not "Set 2 is juiced." The hits felt about where Dawn of Palpagos (Set 1) had them. If you opened a lot of Set 1, the rhythm of this break would've felt pretty familiar to you. Almost exactly the same. In the same pack placement.

Big caveat, and I want to be loud about it. That's one breaker on one night. It's not a pull-rate study. Bushiroad hasn't published official pull rates for Dawn of Palpagos, or anything Palworld related. But the community knows...

Still, it's a useful vibe check. If you were bracing for Legends Awaken to be meaner than Set 1, one big early sample didn't really show that. It's the same.

About the God Pack thing

The God Pack chase was already a talking point going into this set. That there would or wouldn't be one. People have been chewing on rumors about it this week, and I get why. It's the big chase, and everybody wants to know how hard it's going to be to hit one, or if you can.

One God Pack out of 13 cases won't settle anything, though. Could be bad luck. Could be just how it is. A lot more boxes need to get opened before anyone can say for sure, and I'm not going to pretend one night tells us the answer.

What it does do is reset expectations. If you're buying a box or two this weekend just for the God Pack, maybe don't. Buy it because you want the cards. Or because you love opening packs. Both are great reasons, and neither one leaves you feeling burned if the God Pack doesn't show.

"Wait, how do they already have it?"

Fair question, and it'll come up in every comment section today. I'd be asking it too.

I don't know how this specific product got to this specific breaker early, and I'm not going to guess. Product showing up before street date happens in pretty much every card game, for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes it's an allocation thing. Sometimes it's a shipping-timing thing. And sometimes it's something else.

I'm not pointing fingers at anybody. I just think it's good info that this many packs got opened on camera before launch, and that the early read was "feels like Set 1." Every rip on stream is free data for the rest of us. Honestly, I love that part. The excitement is there and in the community.

Pokémon's 30th Celebration had it way worse

If you think a few days early is wild, look at what Pokémon just went through with the Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration set. Its official worldwide street date was September 16, 2026. But 30th Celebration packs were already getting opened on Whatnot streams back in July, about two months early. One of those streams pulled the "RGB Mew," a card nobody had seen on any checklist. By August, The Pokémon Company International had told eBay that 30th Anniversary cards "are not distributed or made available for public sale through authorized channels as of today," and eBay started pulling in-hand listings under its stolen property policy. Then launch day hit. Fans in the UK queued overnight, some people said product was out of stock a minute after the drop, and scalpers took a lot of the blame.

So yeah, Pokémon had it worse. Way worse. Legends Awaken showed up on stream a few days before launch. The 30th Celebration was out in the wild for about two months before its street date. I'm not saying the two cases are the same, and I'm not saying how either one got out. I'm saying early product is a hobby-wide thing, and our version this week is tiny next to that.

What I'd actually do with this

  • Don't panic-buy on Friday. One stream doesn't tell you anything about value. Prices are going to bounce around all weekend, so give it a minute before you jump.
  • Chase singles if you want a specific card. Especially when 13 cases on that stream turned up just one God Pack. Buying the card you want beats hoping it falls out of a pack.
  • Open for fun. Seriously. If you're opening to make money, a night like this is your warning.
  • Watch the next few big breaks. If those line up with Dawn of Palpagos too, then we actually know something. Until then, it's one night and one read.

Last thing

If you're getting ready for Friday, I've got the Legends Awaken (EBP02) card list up on PalworldCenter. Every revealed card is there, with its number and a link back to where it came from. Also restock tracker live on the site and the Discord. Join the fun.

Saw a God Pack get opened somewhere else? Tell me. I want the count to go past one.

The stream figures (1,872 packs, 13 cases, 1 God Pack) and the "feels like Set 1" read are my own account from watching Whatnot on Tuesday, October 27.
